If you have not been given your AVCE specification by your lecturer for your unit it is a good idea to print it out to help you complete your course work.
How to use the specification to help you with your coursework.
All advanced AVCE units are graded A-E, with each grade allocated certain amount of points. Your criteria will tell you what you need to do to obtain an E, C or A. Your lecturer will judge whether your coursework falls between these grades i.e.E - A. When working on your coursework it is very important that you work through the bullet points on your specification, your lecturer will use this as a guide to help decide your grade. Grades from C-A require an analytical approach to your work, this means using your judgment, asking why, being critical of theory you may have to apply, using examples and so on.
